Just like the changing seasons that we see come and go each year, some are longer some are shorter, some are more intense than others, in similar style one hurricane season can see active weather stretched out over a longer period or produce more storms or more intense cyclones than the previous season.  Scientists track storms as best as they can but I use insight to complement the scientific work being done.

2004 - Hurricane Ivan

In July of 2004 I received my first insight into hurricane activity.  I was shown how the State of Florida was going to be impacted in several areas by Atlantic tropical cyclones, including three which became major hurricanes.

The greatest storm of the 2004 Tropical Storm Season was Hurricane Ivan which formed on September 02 in the east Atlantic off the west coast of Africa and became a Cateogory 5 Major Hurricane.  I was shown in great detail the size and the places it was going to visit ahead of time.  Knowing in advance that Ivan was going to be big, I first named him Ivan the Terrible and then added the nick-name Ivan the Tippster, once I realized how he was going to skip by several islands.

The 2013 North Atlantic- eastern North Pacific Hurricane Season

By 2012 I realized that since I was getting insight into tropical cyclone activity each year maybe it was time to start looking at this hobby or past-time more seriously and making detailed notes about all my observations and insight.

This lead to a complete compilation of the 2013 Tropical Cyclone Activity for the North Atlantic and eastern North Pacific regions with accurate and detailed insight into what the season would entail, including insight which NOAA didn't have ahead of time.     Click on the

Next Project - The 2014 North Atlantic - Pacific Hurricane Season

Traditionally the North Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June 01 to November 30 and the eastern North Pacific Hurricane Season starts May 15 and ends November 30.  As I receive insight into this year's activities, just as I have in previous years, I plan to use this site to record and log all activity and insight in real-time and invite others interested in contributing or sharing their knowledge or insight, so this can be used as an accurate and reliable tool to keep the public abreast of any upcoming storms and impending dangers.                          Click on the
